Advent means arrival or coming. It is a season of anticipation and preparation to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is a celebration of the revelation of God in Christ whereby all of creation might be reconciled to God. This first message looks at the genealogy in Matthew 1. We see the grace of God at work in four areas: In the calling of one woman; in the calling of two men; in the history of three eras; and in the inclusion of four outcasts. The God of all grace sent Jesus into the world to be the King of grace.
